How did Sir Roger become the slave of the widow?

Seeing the angelic beauty of the widow Sir Roger fell for the widow. The widow acted helpless in front of Sir Roger. She charmed him with her elegant attitude, musical speech and neat behaviour. She was intelligent enough to fool Sir Roger. When Sir Roger was in her control, she misused his power.

Sir Roger started writing poetry, curving her name in the branches of the trees. Her behaviour, her looks, her speech all made him so weak that he metaphorically bowed to her. Despite being the head of the court, he became biased/fooled and helped her to get the dower in the court. That's how he became the slave of the widow. He was totally in her control and he could do anything for her without thinking even for a while.
