Addison went to school. He did not talk much in his childhood. He was intelligent by birth. So, he was much loved by his school masters. He completed his college but could not complete his university course. He had a habit of keeping silent. He did not utter three sentences all together in his life. Therefore, he left university and turned his silence into his strength. This silent character made him a good observer. He read books quite a lot. Old and modern, all types of books were read by him. He had a great desire to earn knowledge and this led him to visit many places and countries. Though he did not complete formal education, he had a great height of knowledge.
